On Sunday, September 17, 2017, the Community of Friends in Action has been invited to join other local organizations in celebration of the International Day of Peace. The event will be held on the lawn of the United Methodist Church in Leonia beginning at 5 p.m.
Organizations are invited to set up tables to display information about their work. The program will begin with musical selections by the William Paterson Unversity Jazz Ensemble, and will include brief presentations and music by members of the various groups.
Members of CoFiA are invited to staff our table and to discuss our work with participants. Like all who will be involved that day, CoFiA members are trying to bring peace to the world every day. It will be wonderful to join with many others who are on the same mission.
